About the author

Fifteen countries. One black Moleskine.

A.M. Khalifa is an Egyptian author based in Rome, and the only Egyptian writing commercial espionage thrillers in English. He grew up in a diplomatic corps family and has lived and worked in more than fifteen countries. He writes international thrillers that breach cultural taboos — espionage, counterintelligence, religious fanaticism, terrorism and gender inequity — and never writes about a place he hasn’t been. He is trilingual.
